This is the versioned history behind the numbers on the site: quarterly Medicare datasets, state Medicaid snapshots published on their own schedules, and every archived revision we kept when an agency corrected a file in place.

Use a release page when the important fact is which dataset vintage answered the question: for example, "Q1 2026 PFS release", "the current NCCI quarter", or "the Texas Medicaid snapshot effective April 16, 2026".

Each family page groups releases chronologically and each release page points back to the file-detail page under Sources, where the raw CMS download, file members, and column layouts live.
