What IDR arbitration awards, code by code

When an out-of-network claim goes to federal arbitration under the No Surprises Act, the arbitrator has to pick one side's offer: the provider's or the insurer's. CMS publishes the results line by line, with the code, the region, both offers and the QPA (the insurer's own benchmark rate). We're turning those files into numbers you can look up for your codes, next to Medicare.

Tell us which specialties to start with

We're building this now, and we'll start with whatever the most people ask for. Pick your specialties and the codes you dispute most.

  • Winning offers for each code, by region
  • Each one as a multiple of the QPA and as a percentage of Medicare
  • How often the provider's offer won, and how many decisions that's based on
  • The CMS file and quarter behind every number
Which specialties do you need?

Yours, or your clients'. Pick as many as you like.

We read every answer, and they shape what we build first.

We'll email you when we have numbers for your specialties, and now and then to ask what you need.

The decisions are public. Reading them isn't.

More than 2.5 million disputes were filed in 2025. In the second half of the year, the winning offer was above the QPA in about 87% of decisions. CMS posts the results every quarter, in files so big they're split across tabs to fit Excel's row limit. Before any of it says something about your own claims, someone has to filter millions of lines down to your codes and region and line them up against Medicare.

What you'll be able to do

Choose which claims to dispute

Before you pay the filing fees, see how often offers like yours win for that code in your region.

See how your results stack up

Compare your win rate and awards with other groups in your specialty and region.

Weigh out-of-network against in-network

Set arbitration awards beside what an in-network contract at a percentage of Medicare would pay, before you sign one or buy a practice.

What this is, and isn't

The law bars arbitrators from considering Medicare rates, so the Medicare comparison is for your own planning, not something to put in an offer. We show what was awarded. We won't tell you whether a claim qualifies for IDR, and we won't write your offer. CMS also leaves out any code and region with fewer than 10 disputes, so some combinations won't have numbers.

What comes first

We'll start with the specialties and codes the waitlist asks for most, and add each new quarter when CMS publishes it. Every number will show the quarter and the CMS file it came from, the same way our Medicare amounts do.
