## What it is

A therapy session run with two or more patients at the same time. The therapist is present and directing the work throughout, but attention is divided across the group rather than given to one person continuously — that constant-attention difference is exactly what separates this from the one-on-one therapy codes. It is not a timed code, so a session counts as one unit for each patient no matter how long the group runs.
