## What it is

The clinical work of designing and overseeing preparation of the allergen extract that goes into an allergy shot. A clinician decides which allergens to include based on the patient's test results, sets the starting strength and the build-up schedule, and supervises dilution of the treatment vials. This covers making and supplying the material only - giving the injection and observing the patient afterwards is recorded separately - and the quantity is counted by the number of treatment doses prepared.
