# CPT 92507

> Medicare paid $79.84 for CPT 92507 in the office (non-facility) setting and $79.84 in a facility under the Q2 2016 Physician Fee Schedule, effective April 2016. These are the national allowed amounts before the ~2% sequestration cut and before locality (GPCI) adjustment. This price has been unchanged since Q1 2016, when it decreased 0.4%.

## What it is

An individual treatment session with a speech-language pathologist working on speech, language, voice, or the ability to make sense of what is heard. Depending on the problem, the session might drill articulation and clarity, rebuild word-finding and sentence-building after a stroke, retrain a strained or breathy voice, or teach a device or picture system as an alternative route to communicate. This is the one-patient-at-a-time version of the service, as opposed to therapy delivered to a group.
