## What it is

The radiation oncologist's management of a full course of stereotactic body radiation therapy, covering the whole short course rather than being counted per session. Because SBRT delivers very large doses in only a few sittings, the physician work is concentrated: verifying the plan and the immobilization, reviewing the image guidance obtained at each session before the beam runs, and assessing the patient across the course. It covers one or more lesions treated in that course, which is limited to a small number of sessions.
