## What it is

A complete plain X-ray of the wrist, taken from at least three angles rather than the basic two. The wrist packs eight small bones into a tight space, so they overlap on any single picture and the additional views are what let a radiologist see each one clearly. A brief two-view wrist study exists as its own code.
