## What it is

A CT scan of the chest timed to the moment injected dye fills the blood vessels, so the pulmonary arteries and the aorta can be traced directly. Reconstructing the slices into three-dimensional vessel images and interpreting them is part of the work. This is a study of the vessels, not the lungs generally, and it does not cover the dedicated imaging of the coronary arteries, which has its own codes.
